Man Accused of Shoving Phone Down Throat

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The assault trial of a man accused of shoving a cell phone down a woman's throat has begun.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Marlon Brando Gill was angry and jealous when he forced the phone into Melinda Abell's throat in December. But defense attorneys insist the 25-year-old victim swallowed the phone intentionally to prevent Gill from finding out who she'd been calling.

Gill is charged with felony first-degree assault.

A doctor at a Kansas City hospital's emergency room used a tool called a "pincher" to remove the phone from Abell's throat.

She testified yesterday that she couldn't remember how the phone got in her throat, saying she drank too much that night. Court records show that her blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit.

I cannot bear to watch more than 5 minutes of news a day. Same depressing stories day in and day out. The weather interests me more :) Got to make sure I don't get rained on when I take the bike out for a spin.

Problem is we don't get the real news, news thats important and truthful. All we get is propaganda and negative news spun for political agenda.

Umm, thats a hard one to answer,...but lets give it a try:

Earth: supposedly the land we are constanly glued to due to something called gravity. We deffinately are making a huge mess with it. Will I ever get to see an alternative to gas? Will I ever see every country following the Kyoto protocols for smoothing down pollution? naaah

People: We so called intelligent beings should learn from the ants in order to have a nice way to live.

Politics: Sorry, what was that? Oh yeah, always the same: you believe they will change things when you´re young, but over the years we just get to be as cattle waiting for the next move without doing anything, as long as them politicians don´t touch our hey.
