It does exactly what it says on the tin....
Needs a solo. Help a guy out.

Pretty heavy alright. What amp is being used here? If a modeler, which one? I like the sound and am curious what you recorded with.

Thanks for the listen sting. I used a Guitarport for the tone...I can send you the gpt file if you like. I doubled the guitars over each other. I played a bass with the Guitarport preset of "Barbarian Bass" with the distortion down to 2.
The whole thing was recorded using RiffWorks which is a little Line 6 Package I downloaded for 99 bucks. Thats where the drums came from. Its a useful tool for quickly writing songs and getting riffs down.

Thanks for listening Janelle. I really want to finish this one off with a cracking solo and some pipes. Might even have a go at it myself!

Jesus man that is heavy! You did not get that tone out of a guitarport did you? :wtf: That has to be the best tone I've ever heard out of that thing. I really like this song man, especially with the vox.

Thanks for listening Eric! I still havent finished tweaking this. It needs a second verse. Not a repeated second verse, Plus the chorus is weak and needs more story, the bass timing is suspect....AND it needs a solo. But WahWah has stepped in to do that part for me :D, and I'll post it at the end of this week in it's finished state. If I'm lucky an Axe2Grind helps out it may have 3 solos in total.
I promise you I really did all this on the Guitarport. It's such a brilliant little tool. I recorded the guitar parts twice. Some extra effects were added in Riffworks.

WOW...JUST WOW...I'm amazed and overwhelmed by all the great feedback, this started out as one little riff...and over a couple of days it kinda grew. I've been looking with the production, I'm not known for being a good tweaker with the levels. But with your advice and comments on this site and G101 has all helped.
Will be posting a final version with a different 2nd verse and with solos from Chris "Wah" Watson and Axeshredder....later this weekend. Hope you can give the time to listen to the finished piece, cos the solos really make it. They did fantastic jobs and made the effort to give me solos within a couple of days of me asking.
THANKS ONCE AGAIN TO ALL WHO LISTENED AND COMMENTED!!
