Oooh, a blues battle! Cool!
Way cool backing track you guys found here, sweet groove.
Loved that intro guitaral. Some very nice licks and tasty note choices.
I also really like how you slow down and speed up to add nice dynamics to the piece. Well built solo, and it sounds great!
Axe, did you know George Thorogood actually has a song named killer blues? haha ;)
Love that wahwah! Nice laid back style in the beginning, kinda sneaks up on you. Reminded me a bit of Tony Joe White actually.
Very well played.
Gotta go with guitaral tho. Comes down to personal preference, I enjoyed his blues style a bit more.

You both are awesome guitar players!!! It's a shame you both relied on effects. I guess this is more of a blues/rock, jam. More rock than blues. Also both of your takes were stellar. Very tastie licks!!
Al. You have the chops! It would have been very cool if you threw everything out but the bare bones stuff. That would be amazing!
Axe. You were closer to tone, but I always thought the wah was used for parts that were at the peak of a great guitar solo. If you over use something, you don't have anything to build up to a climax. Kinda SRV. He chose his weapons when he needed them and backed off when he didn't. Awesome playing! I could hear the guitar's tone, but got dizzie with the constant Wah.
Just my own opinion. I know it doesn't mean anything but Blues has feeling. You can play alot of fancy stuff, but if you can't feel the music.. It just doesn't connect.
As far as my stupid no meaning opinion, It's a tie. You both did stellar and they sounded very cool!

I liked the wah on Axeshedder's. Also, the mix with the track was really nice to my ears. Good job to both. My vote goes to Axeshedder.
