Snarling vocals by Stevedak for this cover I had recorded last year. Steve stepped up and completed this track to give it that last element it needed so much.
Recorded with my Wolfgang and POD 2.0. All double guitars by me, including improvized solos.
Marty Friedman is too hard for me and I didn't have seven years in front of me to learn his playing...
Thanks for listening.

Nice! Is that still the POD 2.0 cos it sounds nice and nasty! Great production mate (everything sits nice and the guitars are full-on in the mix) and SteveDak did a great job on the vox.

Damn! I am at work so I will have to wait to check this out. I have your previous version (minus vocals) at home from a long time ago on G101. It pops up from time to time on my playlist. A rockin' version for sure. I will check it out with vocals when I get home tonight. :thumb:

Yes, Chris. It's the old POD 2.0
It's still a tone monster if you know how to make it work. The XT is amazing, but until I can aford one, the 2.0 will have to do...

Thank you. It's good to hear from fellow Megadeth fans.
Right now I've been recording Hangar 18. I've got the rythm down by now... But as you know, the biggest chunk of the song is the multiple solos by Marty Friedman. Ouch! At this rate, I might have a completed song by 2009!

This turned out killer C.C. We really do need to do that collab we've been talking about doing. It would be a good time. Nice job here! :thumb:

Of course you can get it out of a POD 2.0 Just follow your ears and tweak the settings... Easier said than done, I know... The Wolfgang's hot pickups also have something to do with the tone I guess.
Thanks, all! Thanks for the nice comments.
Sweeeeeeeeet ass collab guys!:thumb:
Whoa! Just getting a chance to check this out at home. Ben, this is really, really good. I could never hear the original again, in lieu of this version, and feel plenty ok about it. I am pretty darned impressed with the mixing job too. The vocals are great. For someone not "out there" doing this gig for real, balls to the wall, hard-core (which is what it take to make it these days), this is a great accomplishiment. This is a top-shelf offering. For-sure takes the place of the original for me (because, as you know, Dave Mustain's voice is the only remotely negative thing I could ever get out of Megadeth). Anyway, definite praise coming your way for this.
