Ok.....New to this board and like the format much better!!!! Seeing who are moderators makes it even more impressive. Here is a tune Shooter and I put down. I have always been a huge Randy fan. I did not stick 100% true to the solo, wanted to add some flair of my own (for better, or worse!) But I always like to stick very close to the flavor of what he did. Shooter did a terrific job on the vocals. Thanks for the warm welcome to the board!

The first solo is so damn close to the original....that must have taken hours of practice..love the tapping and tiny harmony in that first solo....in Final verse i hear some Yngwie influenced lcks...

Now the grand finale solo......JAW DROPPING...I better get me some lessons....bloody hell you are on FIRE:woot:

I am Ipoddin this one...Don't worry I cannot steal any of those licks, I rarely go up to the high frets (or dusty end of my fretboard as Angus Young calls it)

Culpser, your tone is very good and reminds me of Randy's on the record, only better actually. On the studio versions, he sounded a bit weak, probably due to hasty production.

First solo is very articulate and you are picking like a mad man. Very sharp, very clean and impressive.

Also nice dual guitar harmony at mid-song before the big solo. All the magic is right there!

Shooter you are the best Ozzy IMO.

Thank you for all of the great comments, I am glad to see there are alot of Randy fans out there. Thanks for the comments on the solo, I thought I might catch some backlash for not keeping it 100%. I am out of town tonight so will probably spend the night listening to many of the songs that are posted on the site. I look forward to hearing many of them.

One of my favs from Ozzy !!!! I see what was meant about it being a bootleg. The mix needs a bit of tweaking IMO but apart from that all i can say really is that THIS F@%"+N BLEW ME AWAY !!!!!!!

Brilliant stuff lads! Shame on me but i haven't listened to Ozzy in about a year so but this has sorted that! I'm hearin the bootleg sound myself but even still the Jigger sounds great:thumb:

Playing and vox are amazingly close. Nice to hear someone nail both Randy AND Oz...he may not be the best singer in the world but you always know when it's him singing. I thought the mix was ok but the highs and lows were missing a bit...was a bit middley. Besides that, a stunning cover and I can understand people commenting on it maybe being a bootleg! Great work. :thumb:

i love Randy Rhoads's work, and all i have to say is this was impressive. don't hear many covers like this one.:boobies:
