Hi Guys,

I have been trying to get more into some jazz elements recently (not succeeding at the moment) but came across this short little jazz type BT and had a go at some improv over it. Made this clean patch and used the neck single coil and seems to pass as a jazz tone. Don't ask me what I played, I have'nt got a clue, just used my ears...LOL. Well, hope you dig funky people..hope my jazz efforts are'nt too hard on the ears, I'm still learning.

I'm not gonna bore you with anymore posts at the mo, gonna have a rest from recording and practice a bit.

Hey Bah & Nag, thanks guys for checking it and your comments. Bah, I'm not an expert in jazz/funk and stuff, just use my ears and tried to blagg everything, try to make people think I know what I'm doing but I don't. LOL.

Nag's, LOL. they were safely tucked up in bed this time...what I'm using is a Zoom G2.1u FX pedal. Has some nice amp models and fx but you have to program the bugger yourself as the factory ones are useless (are'nt they always!). My patch basically had a VOX AC30 model with some reverb/delay and a little clean boost but its a very touch sensitive tone so I may have to tweak it so that single lines stand out. Its a pretty basic setup but I can get some decentish tones out of it.

Lovely runs for sure there man! , but I personally like a real clean-treble off tone for these kind of stuff. I kind of think reverb-delay doesnīt fit there, but thatīs just my taste.

Hey Uke, thanks v.much for checking it out, hmm that's interesting, I'll try that out, take off the reverb/delay and lower the treble as well, I'll give that a go, thanks for the tips dude...I'm very much a noob jazzer (not that it was very jazzy):thumb:
