Have a good few tunes recorded myself that i wouldn't post just in case(some filthy knacker knicked them) but they're all kinda out there and an aquired taste so i thought i'd post this 1. It's new and only recorded as ideas and i'd advise some spliffs(or lots of beers) before listenin or else i don't think u'll get it!Maybe even listen to it again if ya didn't like it first it's kinda like that!:D Any people analyzing drums or anythin don't bother nothin's finished! As i said it's just an idea recorded. Feel free to tell me it's crap if ya don't like it i'm not easily offened and criticism is the only way of improvin anythinin my book:boobies:

Playing was great! Lots of interesting tones...3rd one at 00:31 didn't work for me as the delay seemd to throw the run out. Loved the diminished runs (always do when they are well executed). Lots of interesting stuff to listen to but sounds a bit disjointed at the moment...kinda Dream Theater 'The Dance Of Eternity' kinda vibe (which is a confusing track itself!!) Definitely got something here tho and look forward to hearing Mk.2 :boobies:

Thx for listenin man and i appreciate ur comment. There's actually no delay at all in any of that. That was a sweeped kinda blues thing! I know no theory or in fact shit about scales or anythin so i can't inform ya any better than that! I play what sounds good to me and i have my own imaginary boxes that make sense to me:lol: As i said u'll like it or not,but again i will think twice before doin sweeped blues thingys again! Thanks for listenin man!

I like to hear someone who differs from other ppl's styles, it gives songs such a diffrent edge:thumb: :thumb:

Exactly my train of thought man. I really don't care if the majority of people don't like it! As long as i do there'll be other people that really dig it too and without thinkin new or likin ur own music there'd be no progression!!! As i said anyway this was recorded in a few hours after a few spliffs as ideas and nothin more. I have other finished tunes there just don't know about copyrightin so can't post em yet. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for ur input Bahamut:thumb:

Don't think twice because of my comments mate...guitar work was great but the timing over that part seemed to be put out by something other than your playing. No delay...then whatever, as an engineer I would have asked you to play it against the drums to see what it was doing..styles really didn't enter the equation; only that some excellent stuff had a part that semed odd timing-wise. Keep on keeping on...don't need an old fucka like me telling you what to do and what not! :D

Nah don't worry man i won't be put off at all i'll just keep doin what i do,was only jokin! So ur an engineer eh! Nice to know that for my future posts! Yeah there's crappy midi guitar in there that's way off and in the drummin there's hi hats goin on where there shouldn't be but overall the beats are the way i want em. Honestly man i like people tellin me if they don' like it(not that ur sayin that i know) it gives me a perseption of what the majority may think. I'll never change writin the way i do i know no other way and don't want to! Cheers again for listenin:thumb:

Yeah, I got a shiny helmet and I get to blow a whistle!!!! Hehe...what I meant was if I were mixing it I would have thought summat wasn't lining up with summat else and asked you to play it along with just the drumtrack. It's all good mate. :thumb:

Totally cool man i wasn't even thinkin of shit like that i just had somethin in my head and did the drums first then played over. Fuckin drums take me ages to do man they're the most annoyin part about writin a tune without the human element! I actually did a sound engineerin course a few years ago and it was bullshit. Cost me 3000 and i learned fuck all. I've learned more on my own the last while than anythin! Can't mix for shit though i really wanna start learnin how that's done. I know it's an art but to even have stuff soundin where it should would do me!

The Harmony work is spotless! I loved it. The clean guitar parts were an eye opener. I liked the whole piece very much! The arrangment is killer!!!

I honestly don't like this tune at all unless i've had a few spliffs!!!

Spliffs? Cool!
Well I think this song is very interesting. I would call it Progressive sounding. Almost like a war march near the end of the track.
I didn't really have a problem with the timing, of course I don't have my picky hat on now either.
I think it sounds great - and the idea of something different makes it fun too.
