Listen to the preset sounds , 250 built in. I must say these amps may be worth checking out. Especially with Christmas coming up:boobies: :woot:
The Funk 49 Patch is pretty nice ! & the Purple Rain Patch...in fact they all sound nice

If it doesn't have t00bs, I don't want it. Line 6 amps are pretty cool, but I wouldn't own one.

just tried one of these Spider III's a Guitar Center. Definite improvement from the II's. The presets go on for days and many of the tones sounded pretty close to what they were going for. Just thought that I would add my 2 cents if anyone was thinking of purchasing one. Although, the II's have drastically dropped in price and a better bang for your buck right now.

Bang THIS. All opinions and we all know the saying about opinions. I find issues with all modelling amps after the love affair wears off. Right now I'm currently impressed with the sound that my friends gets from his Vox AD60VTX. All the rest of the modelling amps in comparrison sound like ass with the exception of the Vetta II.

The love affair with the PODxt burns strong here :p BUT I had a Flextone II xl which was awesome. Bought a Flextione III and sold it in days...didn't have a patch on the II. There again Axe has a III and loves it so wadda I know?
Have a Spider 1 which I use for lessons but I wouldn't gig with it. If I saw a Flextone II in good nick, I'd buy it regardless of the fact it'd be 5 years old at least.
