Here's another repost from the day. The drum track is canned and all the extra percussion stuff and bass were done manually on my keyboard. I was sort of going after a Rush tone on the guitar but who can nail Alex Lifeson's perfect tone lol.

Yeah, it has that mushy guitar tone, like Alex often had back around Signals and grace Under Pressure. This has a certain "weirdness" quality about it that appeals to me. I get easily bored with predictability and just using basic chord combos. This also has a bit of a Police vibe, a la their Zenyatta Mondatta era. If I didn't have a lot of projects on the back burner (and half-started), I would love to throw some leadwork over this, as it would benefit more from experimental wierdness than speedy technique (which I lack). Pretty cool man. I don't know that I've heard any of your own jams before. Do you have any more?

Thanks man, it would be great to hear some coolio leads over this if you ever get time.

I have lots of songs that I will probably post (gotta start stocking this place!) in time. I have a couple in this style but most are hard rockers in one form or another. Would love to hear anything you have to post also. :)

cool as !! Eric this is inspired and atmospheric stuff! some of the perc is a little bit wayward but it has VIBE written through it and that is cool. I really like this :)

Thanks for the feedback, I didn't have you to salvage my poor timing on this one lol I have always had a problem with that on a keyboard manually. Maybe I will post up that other Wave tune that you sang and fixed up the drums on, I really like what you did with that.

I thought it has a great fucky feel to it....hooked fromt he drum and bvass lines in it....the guitar tones fit in to it like a glove....great vibe to it...:thumb:

there wasn't much to fix to be honest mate. it was a cracking tune as it was :)
