Just havin' fun here, I don't take these things any too serious.
My post was meant to be humorous. So feel free to laugh at any given point.

Awesome...very impressed. Checked out your site so I knew what I was in for...Here is my humble attempt. Loved the funky groove and the picking near the end on your tune! I don't take these seriously either, so your in good company. Good Luck

Guys, surely a top knotch battle and both versions are fantastic. But given my taste in styles, my vote goes with Culpster as I really liked some of those runs and did remind me of Lynchee (one of my favs)...Some wicked trem work Mr.T....very entertaining battle by you both....:thumb:

Great playing from both! Culpster's reminded me of either Jeff Watson or Brad Gillis (not sure which) in tone and playing...incredible licks!
Tang's had a GREAT sleazy quality to it which was one part Vai (without underpants!) and one part Steve Stevens (without Idol!). Loved the vibrato...both natural and trem'd.
Went with Tang cos I liked the crazy aspect of it. Hairs width between em.
PS get yer site finished Tang! Loved the video...nice to put a face to a name. :thumb:

Had to go with M.T for the pure finesse of the piece. I also love the sleaze!

guitaral, your right, it really is apples and oranges here. Culp brought out a big stick on the old school guitarin'. I loved it:D
Thanks Ax2G, WahWah, and Naganom for the comments as well.
LMAO @ Vai with no underpants! Kind of brings a nasty picture to mind:eek:

Thanks for taking a listen, This is a great battle and Master Tang certainly is a stiff competitor. Check out his site, he has got some cool video on there.
Thanks for taking this challenge Master Tang..........I love his track too!

Honestly, this is just to hard to vote! These are both excellent tracks. Culpster, you got some serious runs and chops man. Master Tang, you're a excellent writer. Both different styles here so I just couldn't vote, sorry.

tang your piece is funky to the max, i love it both of you did an awsome job, but i guess i'm gonna have to abstain, for me its a dead heat draw

Ive no problems in saying who I voted for and why I choose my fave of the 2 tracks.
Im voting for Culps track.
Tangs track , as I heard it, just went on and really didnt go anywhere and I lost interest very quickly, Culps track had energy and gusto, he didnt rely on a technical chops demonstration a la sweeping up and down or long scalar licks that merely eat up time , he made his point with a ballsy, dynamic , melodic and in your face piece of music.......well done Culp :thumb:
Props to both of yuz for giving us the chance to hear you.:wavey:

Heh, I'd have to tell ya Master Tang. I have no idea how you play like that. But then again I've never played a guitar with a tremolo...
Sounds very spacy and cool.
Listening to Culpster now. Guitar playing here sounds a bit more realistic.
Very well played, that was quite a crazy guitar ride.
