I thought i'd give a crack at posting something up here ,

I worked this one up a little while ago but just never got round to finishing it off . couldn't think of a melody line at all , but i've been inspired lately to try and finish it .

Tell me what you think so far !

Not a typical post around here and I would love to see more of them. This is a very cool tune you have going here, I know a lot of these chord progressions aren't nearly as easy as they sound. This is a great original jazz piece, I look forward to then end result with this.

I love your posts cuz your're one of the few forumites that digs jazz. Plus you're a huge Steely Dan fan on top of it all. Smooth, easy-breezy feel to this. I like the sound.

I played guitar in the Jazz band in High School.

I really liked it - it's fun music for the guitar. It gives you a lot of freedom of movement.

Stig!! This is fantastic man!! This is the sort of stuff I dream about doing!
And it's a supreme foundation to do some killer Jazz leadwork over! Man, it will be devestating when you add your licks over this as well!!!! I can actually hear your playing over the changes!!

Very cool Stig, love the vibe and flow, very nice smooth jazz....I'm also a keyboardist so I also play this kinda stuff at home too. I for one would love to see more jazz orientated stuff being posted. Its also great for practicing over as Rid said. Great work and thanks for the post, I have a few jazz lead idea's to practice on ...hehe. :thumb:
