Man that was sweet. A beautiful tribute indeed. :thumb: I'm a big SRV fan. Alot of folks don't know that. Even though I'm into mostly Metal music, SRV has always been one of my favorite players too. I've played rhythm guitar to alot of Stevie tunes in past classic rock bands & I'm from Central Texas which isn't far from his birth place of Dallas and also close to Austin where Stevie is most famously known. I'm not good at playing blues unfortunately, hard rock is my style but if I were as talented as yourself, I'd love to cover "Couldn't stand the weather" which is one of my favs. I remember well when I heard the news of his death on August 27, 1990. I cried that day.

I have this poster below hanging in my music room along side Eddie Van Halen.

Got it off ebay 3 years ago.

First thing that struck me about this tune was the tone , very fat but subtle . i was quite impressed . very clean just the way i like it ,
