Has anyone checked out this guy?

He is way talented.

Does anyone know about his tunings for guitar? It sounds like he tunes to low B for crying out loud. I read that he uses .012 guage for baratone guitar - is that how he gets that low crunch sound?

I think he is amazing too - the whole Goth, tattoo thing is something I never got into at all. I don't have a single tattoo, or a single piercing.

But his guitar work is quite unreal to me - and I like the baratone guitar idea.

I just wanted to give you all an example of that B tuning - with the .012's on.

When I strung them up - the damn G string was SO DAMN THICK!

Didn't SRV use .012's? I have a WHOLE new respect for him :)

I'm going out tonight to record for my new song - and I plan on using this new B tuning on my upcoming track.
