Perhaps I'm pushing it and "over posting"... but, anyway, here's our take of one of Jimi's grooviest tunes: FIRE (http://www.magnusandersson.com/mp3/fire.mp3)
Fredrik isn't a big Hendrix fan, but I think he made the vocals "swing". Especially the verse after the solo.
Rock on!

man i love a good jimi tune. and like most of us round here he was my first real guitar hero. his guitar playing by modern standards may be considered somewhat sloppy but he innovated a plethera of new tricks and also managed to make an impact on politics. a true innovator and legend. his songwriting is often overlooked by the youngsters these days. they just want loud abrasive guitars and forget that behind it all you need a good song that you can sing along to if you cant actually play. Jimi wrote a bucketload of excellent excellent songs with beautiful guitar. chords linked up by sweet little melodies and solo styled lines.
now then, sounds like you nailed the feel and fun and vibe of this track. its fun and poppy and rocking all at once as Jimi tended to be. And you hit the spot with it. great playing, fun cool vocals and all round great effort. would like to hear it with more sort of "balls" for lack of a better word. more in your face. because thats another element of Jimi's i really caught on to. But still... this is quality and i applaud you.

Since it's been 36 years since Jimi passed away :( I'm posting in this thread again. And also because it's the only Hendrix tune we've recorded.
