Being fairly new to home recording and liking the samples I heard of EZDrummer and Drumkit from Hell, I splashed out and bought the software. I installed it only to find I am missing a "plug in host" so as yet, I am actually unable to use the software!

My question is what exactly is the PLUG IN HOST? Is it a midi keyboard? Is it some more software? What do I have to do to use this great drum sampler??

Any help would be appreciated.Thanks:(

Your plugin host is your multitrack software (Sonar,Cubase, whatever).

Thanks Pod.. I'm using cool edit pro...I can import midi, but it doesnt give me any option to open EZ Drummer. There's no way to launch EZDrummer in standalone mode. Aha...I get it now... Searching their support site I found this list of compatible plug ins
