If you want to call it blues anyway, that's what the backing track is at least. I just solo'd over this on my POD XT for fun one day. :)

Damn dude, wow! You have some slick licks in your arsenal. This is a great display of "night club" quality jamming. I didn't know you could play this fluid and smooth (I think i even heard a few sweeps in there at some point). Looks like I'm gonna have to spend a little more time with my guitar to hold my own around here. I sincerely hope that, with this site, you spend less time Administrating, and more time recording and posting. it would be a shame if you didn't. What else you got laying around your hard drive?

P.S. Yeah, that wasn't really what I would call blues. :p It was a bit too happy and positive sounding. Maybe better labeled "jazzy blues" or something.

P.S.S. I am currently working on Rush's "A Passage to Bangkok" and I hope to finish it up this weekend. I know that you have done a stellar version which I have a copy of somewhere on my hard drive at home. i would love to hear that if you got it available, for some inspiration this weekend! I would value hearing how you approached a few different parts.

Thanks for the nice comments dude, I am not very good at drepressing blues although I have always tried to be it ends up something different so I just go with it.

Sweet about the Rush thing dude, I will dig up a copy of passage and post it up although it's got quite a few goofs in it. Even on guitar their timing is hard to nail but the challenge is fun.

A bit harsh tone for the song IMO. Otherwise, strong improvisation chops, Eric.

It's good to hear you play again, dude.

Sounded like "latin fusion" to me. Kind of Santana (backing track), and good it was! Cool!!!
