Well. Frampton and his Les Paul Black Beauty,SRV and his number one, Brian May and his Red Special, Satch with his Chrome Ibanez. I could name millions! My Les Paul always gets all the attention when I play out. What's yours????

Didn't you already start a now mammoth "Post Yur Geetars" thread ? lol. Oh well, slightly different slant makes room for us to lust over our wealth of axes yet again. I see no problem with that i'll have you know. I suppose my few years of now loyal service and constant praise of my Strat and Strats in general has seen me become a bit synonymous with it/them...

Learned my first notes and chords on this guitar. Anything i've ever posted was done using this guitar. I also have a Indonesian squire telecaster that isn't so bad.. It's actually pretty good too for what it is. But, my strat is the one.

A LONG, LONG time ago I suppose it would have been these three Ibanez's...especially the white one as I kept changing the front with stripes, chequerboard and dots! Now it would have to be the goldtop wolfie.

Here I am with a band that only exists when we are drunk. "On Flames And A Boat" (is that Bowie on the mic???).
I'm the blues brother with my black Edwards Les Paul, the one I play the most. Love the sound and feel of it.

Nice geetar Danny , and hey is that a good old Aldi bag in the background ? .

I notice your centre pick-up is fully retracted , i still don't know why its necessary to do that :headscratch: . Surely its a case of not selecting it , rather than screwing it down , and why people deny themselves access to one of the best rhythm tones on the planet , defeats me .

Anyway when i was a kid , i too did it :toothless:

Hehehh, blonde? No not me!

That photo was taken back when I used to wear my old dorky looking Army issued glasses. I thought they looked so nerdy - that I thought they were cool to wear.

I don't wear them anymore.

I always thought I kind of looked like Noodles from that band "The Offspring"

Nice guitars guys! Some real beauties on here so far. :thumb: I am suprised to see that they are all oldschool style guitars though.

All my guitars are junk and I don't play out anywhere anyway, so I won't bother showing mine heh.

I don't think people would remember me by guitar in particular to be honest. I guess you'd have to ask the other guys here...

:headscratch:

I guess it depends on who you speak to. Guys I used to live with a few years ago would remember me by the purple Ibanez that was the only guitar I had back then. Stiglar and ricklepotomous would probably remember me by the stripy Kramer cuz they love it, wahwah probably my wolfgang cuz he borrowed it once, and people at work probably my stripy kramer as well cuz they were there to see how excited I got when it finally arrived at work one day...

:dunno:

Killer Relic look you have going on with that bad boy. Looks like it plays like chocolate as does your other one in the other thread.

I doubt anyone remembers me by my guitar, since i don't gig anymore, and when i did, i hadn't even built the Av-1 then, and was just using my £90 Floyd Rose (which i borrowed Mart's Evo pickup for awhile to use in it).

yeah Danny, past the 4th year it started to get that relic look, back then i was doing club circuits, 6 nites a week from 94-2000, with only a 2 week holiday in that 6 years. A true workhorse. Thinking of re-installing its original single coils. Plays well, sweet as chocolate too :D

I guess if anybody remembers me at all it would be for a grubby looking Black Strat (Skitzo) and a limited ed. black Gibson SG (Millennium) with an ebony neck and white stars on it.

Remember the SG of course ... sounded incredible in the next rehearsal room to ours back in '83.

I don't have my own pic of it. But i'd say my 1998 Ibanez RG520QS. I loved this guitar. I wish I never sold it. Also my 1987 Ibanez RoadStar 2. Sold it as well. I was a dumb kid. lol

Gotta disagree about the three Ibanez's Chris. I reckon the little beast in the middle left a few deep impressions (along with tinnitus) especially on that poor cannine in Sunderland :)

From '83 until '92, I only had one guitar - my Kramer Pacer Imperial. I never even owned a single-coil equipped guitar until the mid-90s. My Kramer is now semi-retired and I have been switching off between my '97 AmStd Lonestar and my '05 Jimmie Vaughan. The latter getting the most attention out of all of my guitars.

Here's the JV - the one I reach for to noodle, take to practices, and jam with the most.

Cool guitars I see here guys. I could take a picture of mine with the webcam, done it before, but it does not have a good resolution. I only have an EPI dot I bought in 04, and a Fender DG-18 acoustic from around 87 or so. I´d love to grab a telecaster or some sort of one, maybe one of these days I´ll throw in some doe for a good lefty one, of course there is no chance of trying it out before buying it like all you right handed bastids have,
