Well, I finally decided to get rid of the Brian Moore i9.13. I made a straight trade in for it for a brand new Ibanez Prestige 1570 in mirage blue (flip flop top). I couldn't be happier. My friend has been raving about the Prestige line for some time now and I decided to try several. I'm not much of a whammy user so I blocked off the trem with the included trem-block and it stays in tune incredibly well. The neck is the most amazing I have ever played - 5 piece Wizard I - just fantastic to play on. Too busy playing to take pics but this is it:

? lol.... i don't get it... Invad3r is getting something like this though maybe you meant him. I'd have a nice Ibanez if they didn't cost so much. Maybe one day.
Looks nice mate. Good luck with it.

Nah man. I actually have an Ibanez. But its just a GRG170dx... I have tried a decent selection of them and all the really great ones are just too much for me. Maybe when im a bit older and have a good job. But I can't afford £500+ on a guitar.

Hey man.....I was gonna get this exact guitar as well. But I decided to go with a 7 string. I have heard alot about these guitars. Ive checked reviews like harmony-central. Very good guitars.

Nice guit sting...those Wizard necks are fast but the frets still trip me up sometime. Definitely Musicman for me from now on. :thumb:

Yeah I saw that next to it in the store. I am confused enough with 6 strings :)
Sure looked tempting though. I hope you enjoy it.
By the way, check out Ibanez's newly updated website...under the RG Prestige they have an 8 string guitar!

lol yeah i saw that on the site. They also have a Ibanez RG550 reissue. ALL Original Parts!!!! The Edge is the Original. I'm thinking about getting one of these instead but it prob will cost me more than 900 like the 7 string is. But the 550 reissue has all the best parts. So I dunno.

My friend has an identical guitar to this one . Is the Prestige range better than the RG550 range , or is it the range below it :headscratch:

its a completely differnt guitar. differnt neck...pups.....bridge...
its a 1987 reissue. one of the best yrs for ibanez. one of the best guitars ibanez has ever created. it has the best trem too. better than the prestige edge pro. it has the original edge bridge. the wizard 1 neck not 2. but the rg1570 is def an awesome guitar. If i had to choose between the 2 id get the RG550 reissue cause it has the best trem you can get.
if they still made the 550's 520's.....there are about the same range in price as a rg1570.....the newer prestige models aint made as good as the older Japan made rg's tho

In the 80s it was all about Kramers for me. That's all I played. Didn't get any kind of variety until the next decade.
