I checked out running man and it sounds great. I like that John Fruiscante tone and funk you got in the intro riff and the Wah was Killa....I love this composition you did....:yourock:

thanks but i purposly banned myself from that sight...for weeks ive been harrassed and accused of cheating by one person with 5 screen names....and when otheres see that they jump on the bandwagon...so my last attemp last night was to battle that accuser who is the most lamest player ive ever heard "Scream"...and i easily beat him but the other screen names signed in and kept trashing me...and i have no respect for the blues ot the people who play it...becuase all they could do is put me down and make accusations but my songs staye #1#2#3 on there charts....and it drove the wannabe blues players crazy so the really got a kick out of letting me have it...when your on top people assume that you think your better than everyone....and accused my tracks are not the blues and they shouldnt be there....well these stupid players didnt read the theme this year, KNOW YOUR ROOTS, BE ORIGINAL.... they all seem to think that playing a bunch of stolen old used blues licks is the blues......i consider the blues ,feeling with no rules...but blues guys like trashing a shredder because guess what...i can play in their competition but the wouldnt have a chance in mine/ ours .... nowill only compete to make them look like fools and im aiming for their throats..but again..i dont expect to make it past round 2...but have been blasted all week cause they assume i think ill win cause of the #1 song....finally i demanded that everything related to me is removed from thats site and had to commit forum suicide to get it done.....you guys missed out on some flaming posts...im curious if you know who had something to do with it...at this point my involment in any site will be limited if this is what im going to get ...threats , accusations of cheating...most here here know thats definately not me...sorry for the long letter..need to get this crap out of me

i agree joe that you are welcome here. we know who you are and what you are about. i dont think anybody here is jealous of anybody else here as we are all friends. too bad about all the hassles you go through just because you play guitar well. imagine the shit you would get if you could play as good as me. lol .kidding

lol...thanks man...its really sad that i went there to share, help and get/give advise...like the people here that taught me how benificial it can be....ive evolved as a guitarist due to the great members of this site and though when you all left g101..that new people just the same who fill the empty shoes...but no....the people here get no reward and still are so supportive of all players no matter their skills or ability but treated with respect that by far is not seen on the internet anywhere...ive checked alot of forum...no one comes close...ok ..enough ass kissing...this site doesnt rule...the people of it do! Thanks so much.

well i competed tuesday....and lost....but many there were shocked....i got the only standing O...but it was no surprise...they went with a carbon copy blues player who i must say had every classic lick in the book down pat, but the runner up was sloppy, out of tune, and neither was original....the theme was "Know your roots, be original" but the judges looked at it like know your roots, and play just like em"..lol....either way i was so happy that i had a great performance and 100% satisfied with the results......and a recording for record..lol..check it out and give me your honest opinion

well i think it was more that the judges should have been instructed that they wanted some originality...they judged the contest as if whover sounded the closest to the old blues....and if i knew that i may have learned a little...but they didnt and i went back to playing with my soul...and i really thought thats what the blues is all about no matter tone nor licks.....but the supposed blues judges are closeminded and i really dont see old blues like King, Mayer making a comeback before some guitarist incorporate the right amount of influence to be called a blues or blues fusion player....i was the only one to recieve a standing ovation which really made it all worth it...but the judges didnt see that cause they were looking...well through me...lol
or maybe its why the winner was over 50 and bald....and so were all the judges..LMAO
