But anyhow, I really liked it, and jeeze that tone was even fresher than any fish you could buy at 6 AM at a beach town market.

Dig the different, expressive tones you get from the different pup switch positions.

I think a little bit of a gentle, slow touch with a wah pedal would have topped it off too ... it's great as it is, naked and unadorned ... but a touch of wah would have just iced the cake IMO.
