This happened a few times today not only on my work computer but my home pc also!

When I go to "edit" my posts, and hit "save", the edit view doesn't redirect back to the main thread? I hit save edit and the screen just freezes there and it caused me earlier to double post because I hit the save button twice, not sure if the edit went through? What I've been having to do (from the edit view when it doesn't redirect back) is to close the browser and open it back up. Then I can see that my edit was saved.

Another related or un-related thing here at home thats been happening for 2 days now is when I log into this site and I get the "Thank you for signing in" screen, I get an auto redirect to citysearch.com?? I have to close the browser, open it and then I see I'm logged in and its ok from there. I thought maybe I had contracted some weird browser hijacker but my homepage always opens normally, no other forum does this to me. My spyware program found no threats.

What the heck could be happening??:headscratch:

I just tried to edit one of my posts this morning here at work and same thing...no redirect back to thread. Had to scroll up and click on the main forum link to get back and see my edit. This is crazy.:headscratch:

Sounds like we have some bugs, I will look into it...

I think he's saying he only has the editing problem, right Avalon?

I fixed that part and it should be working now. The citysearch things sounds more suspect of your PC, either spyware or it's taking over your browser.

thanks. I'll let you know if the editing thing happens again. I'm going to try a different spyware program although I've had good luck with xoftspy, it didn't find anything suspect.

It may be something confused in your cookies too, that wouldn't necessarily be spyware. You say it only happens at home?

The log in redirect thing only happens at home yes.

Yeah, the first thing I would do is nuke your cookies :)

Actually, I did. I clear cookies every time I shut my PC down but it still happens. It's a mystery. Eventually I'm going to install my WinXP O.S. upgrade so maybe it'll go away then?
