I can see improvement in myself very small improvements, like finding a C position or D when picking up the guitar is now second nature, I can see how with a few years under ones belt how this could gel together.
What i would like is a few chords that I can string together that are instantly recognisable as a tune, I have looked at a few online but without the lead they don't mean a deal especialy with the 15 second delay :headscratch: between chords.
Anyone have any good practice chord routines?
Richard.

Try putting D, Cadd9 and G together...these three together will give you an 'anchor point' which is basically a way of doing all three chords without taking one of your fingers off the neck. You'll also be playing 'Sweet Home Alabama'. :thumb:

That just emphasizes the 5th instead of the 3rd of the chord.

Thats also how I play it...and I do the same 3rd fret thing on the 1st and 2nd string for the G also...sounds fuller. Here's a doc showing what I mean by anchor point. The third chord in couldn't really be construed as an F but put the G, C and F shown and you're on the way to 'Paradise City' mate. :thumb:
BTW, the anchor point in this instance is the 3rd finger on the 3rd fret of the 2nd (B) string...try and leave it in place and see how you form the other chords around it.

It's the 9th note of the scale it's trying to get...i.e the 2nd note of the next octave up.
