Playing around with the JSX combo and some new effects, that I still haven't figured out yet. The amp is on quite low volume and EQ is set neutral (12 oclock). The first part is using a fender US strat (with a mix of mic and a little camera audio) and the second part using a custom made 5150 (mic audio only). I noted what channel and effects are on but the last part of the stratocaster playing, where Im sweep picking, is raw amp - no MXR EQ as incorrectly noted.

The MXR EQ and Boss overdrive have really conservative settings as Im still trying to work them out without loosing the nice natural tube dynamics of the raw amp.

Interesting tones...especially with the Strat (can't beat them single coils). If I was thinking of a combo, I'd check out the JSX as well as the Vetta II. Tasty playing as well. :thumb:

Hey Wah, I haven't listened to Satriani much at all in the last few years (despite buying his amp) but last night I was listening to 'If I could fly' and the JSX lead tone sounds just like that (if it isn't the JSX itself). Cheers mate
