An old song I did a wile a go...........


I met this singer on guitarbt forgot his name though lot of changes since then great voice though and this is his original too I just did the solo work but we made a great team wish he would have stuck around older fella but classy guy from what I remember.

Well this isnīt exactly what I expected to listen to after the blues title, but anyways you guys did a soulful job on it!

And it really is more of a crossroads blues the singer is old school the whole song is taken from life experiance so it doesnt get more blues than that I emagin.But he asked for un updated solo so I think I acomplished that but my soloing their is almost a Santana vibe its a quarky tune I really like it.:thumb:

i have always loved this song. such a great chord structure and groove to play over. Anyways this was awesome and gets 5 stars..I think this should go over in the covers section mate as it is stella.

what a great vocalist and your guitar sounded really soulful :yourock:

You mean the BT I dont think its a cover of another song Mac if it is post the original song are artist so I can have a listen are is this a BT that he made a song out of im not shure because we did do another cover of Bob Dylan together

this is a cover lex, road to hell by chris rea.

saying that, great playing m8 and a nice creamy tone.

vocalist has a great gravel'y voice.

I wish I could rember this guys name I get so sick of CPU crashes and crap because I loose so much information this guy had been around as an old school active blues musician since the 60's I checked out his websight before about a year ago and he had alot of new artist posted up their including his band and now I dont have his websight any more for all I know this guy wrote the original tune and sold the rights to Chris Ria......



Yea move it to covers and ill post the Dillan tune their too cool...:thumb:

Very tastefull playing on this Lexicon, great vibe to this song with that guys voice. This is strikingly similar to a Leonard Cohen type of thing. Cool tune.

I remeber hearing the original of this once before but yours has more character to it. Very distinctive guitar and vocals. Nice job!:thumb:

hay thanks man for the listen dude yea the singer on this told me he wrote the song and then we did a cover together after this one so its still a wounder in my mind if he actually did ?

But I listen to the published vershion of this and its preaty awesome who ever wrote it Chris Rias are this no name blues player Hahah did a great job and it was my pleashure to do some solo work for anyone who can sing like that.

I remember an interview with Chris Rea when he said that he wrote this song stuck in a traffic jam on the M25. I have the album so could check the credits, but it don't really matter, great cover and the guy has a fantastic voice.
