Hmm, well... my intial intention here was to record the audio on the computer at the exact same time as recording the video on the Digital Camera... it turned out not to be much of a workable idea unfortunately lol. The two didn't sync up when I tried to line em up in Windows Movie Maker.
As a result... the overall sound isn't loud enough and the guitar is also rather too low in an already low mix. But hey, who gives a shit right ?. It's the best of the two Video Jams to a Backing that I have managed to capture so here it is.
Ready to fill in another 3 minutes of boredom any of you guys and gals may come accross :D...

I didnt think it was that low, but it seemed really fizzy. But hey, thats what you get when recording with a digital camera, nothing much to do about it. Too bad your initial plan didnt work out.
Either way it was a really cool video and it was great to see and hear ya do some blues stuff. And ya managed to stay away from the shred type stuff for a pretty long time, at least ;)
That octave riff looked like it might sound really cool too, but unfortunately it was really hard to hear anything of it.
Very cool video tho! :woot:

I think i'll try this again later and just not bother with the recording on the computer thing. If I do a few tests to get the right guitar volume and backing volume it should be fine. The fizzyness arises mostly from when I transfer it to Windows Movie Maker... seems to add few too many highs into the equation which blows. Thanks for checking it out Naif mate, check back sometime cause i'll probably stick the re-attempt in here lol.

We are guitar players...sound was low...but we could tell it was smokin!! It's syncs well. The chops are excellent. I still like seeing how you have that "economy of motion" thing going. You have your hands perfectly placed throughout. :thumb:

A lot of it is right hand precision..and the way you use your left hand to facilitate the next change. Keeps your fingers from wandering and that equates to better precise speed in the end. I really dig these improv things. I learn a lot. Great to see Danny. Thanks man. :thumb:

I learn stuff too thanks to you , Cheers mate. I think that came about through necessity and through watching Yngwie play. His hand always seemed to move up the neck in superquick installments rather than just flowing up in one motion. Looked cool too I thought. I guess i'll keep doing it like that then.
Someone once told me i'd develop real bad habbits if I didn't practice properly and do stuff right first time, but it doesn't feel like I have enough bad habbits to hinder me from playing the way I want to play. hmm... I also don't practice as such... I just play and play and play and improvise and improvise and jam and jam lol... not to mention record, massive help to playing I reckon.
In truth I think the biggest help to my guitar playing has been these sites and meeting all you guys. Back on G101 was the beginning of it, kept feeling the whole "I MUST improve" thing in order to catch up to you guys... lol.
You feel that when you first joined up ?...

Until recently the only way I could record was a videocamera into the USB port and Audacity, not very successful!
You certainly know your way around that fingerboard!!
