I used to have a kitty (shit head) but gave her away to a nice home when I moved in with my wife, a pitbull doesn't do well with a kitty by nature. Here's a picture of them all ready for my wife to throw the ball.

I love dogs, all dogs big or small. Throughout my childhood my Mom always had chihuahua's or dachsunds and I became partial to small dogs that sit on your lap and lick your face..lol

I have a 16 yr. old chihuahua that my Mom keeps for me because I'm not allowed to have pets where I now live. That dog is family and I think of her as family dreading that I will lose her to old age. 2 years ago, I had a chihuahua die in surgery to try and remove stones that were blocking her kidney and it crushed me. It took a year to get over her death. I get very attached to dogs and I might not have another pet after my current dog because its too painful to lose them.

Nice dogs you have there, I like big dogs too. My Dad has 2.

I hear you man it's tragic to lose an animal, especially for those who really take good care of them and hang with them day in and day out. If I outlive these guys I will probably get another one though, I really like having them around. Bo (the pitbull) looks gnarley but he's just a mellow old dude like me for the most part and loyal as all hell.

Nice looking dogs, bro! Dogs are good for men, as they allow you to express your natural need to experience love without any need for emotional commitment or having to become vulnerable to rejection. They will take whatever you wanna give and always come back for more. Sometimes I feel bad, but I often-times give my dogs more affection than i give my wife! No worries though, fellas....all sex still goes to my lady! ;)

I have some pics at home of my 2 boys (a couple of Australian Shepards). I shall post some pics when i get home.

This guy is a hell of a bastard, I really had a hard time asking permission to his manager for posting a little bootleg, him singing on it,..

LMAO that is way too funny dude! Cute doggy.

KCAR, looking forward to seeing some pics of yours when you get a chance. I hear you about their loyalty man, very unconditional though I am happy to hear your lady is the only one getting the good stuff. ;)

I am happy to hear your lady is the only one getting the good stuff. ;)Well...we are still technically considered "newlyweds," so it's still fresh and exciting. So, that could be changing here in a couple years. But rest assured that I'll go ahead and get a female dog if it comes down to that. :toothless:

Hey Uke (short for "Ukelele" :p ), is that really your dog, and also a real recording of your dog??? You need to get that video camera out, bud! Send that off to that show "The Planet's Funniest Animals." He does sound like he is authentically singing the doggie blues. he's probably singing about fleas swimming in his water bowl or some other equivalent dog dilemma. :toothless:

Hey Eric...why is your wife wearing that glove? Is it because of all the doggie slobber on the ball handle?

Hey Eric...why is your wife wearing that glove? Is it because of all the doggie slobber on the ball handle?
Exactly! I always wear one too. Some times I go out there with 2 Kong toys and have them both running all over the place, it's a kick and they sleep a lot better at night too.

I guess I am technically a newlywed too, 9 more days til our first month anniversary. :D

Two weeks with me, another two with my folks, this kid is too much for me, :maddance: :P. But at least I get some big laughs! It´s funny but he only starts "singing" when I play the G harp, this little bastard even howls like a wolf.

Ok, here we go. I think that I have actually posted these on G101 before but will post again in case anyone missed it. This is me with my 2 Australian Shepards (AKA "Aussies"), Buddy (on the left) and Blue (right). These are pretty intense, high-energy dogs. They are super smart and love to learn new things and perform tasks just to please their master(s). Given this combination, they have to be all up in your business all the time and are omni-conscious of your where-abouts and what you are doing (and whether or not it will be invloving them). They follow you EVERYWHERE ( if you are in one room and are planning on going to another room, you know that they will be coming with you). Sometimes it can get really annoying, but I'd rather have them than apathetic dogs that are real aloof.

http://www.amieandjeff.com/G101/KCAR%20with%20Buddy-Blue.jpg

Unfortunately, my wife and I both work full-time jobs and are too tired at night to work with them enough, so we don't fully benefit from their intelligence (as far as teaching them tricks and stuff). But fortunately, because they are smart, they catch on pretty quick during the times when we DO need to teach them something. The slimmer dog (Blue) is exceedingly athletic and could probably go pro if they had a doggie football league. He will play fetch with a tennis ball all day long if you've got the time. He is fast and agile and gets the ball before Buddy 9 out of 10 times. While running the ball back to me, he weaves around Buddy with ease, and some of his "cuts" and "juke" moves remind me of a pro football player. But yeah...going back to the glove, That dog can saturate a tennis ball and have saliva dripping off it by about 5 throws. I never thought about using a glove. I will try that. I do wear a glove when I pick up their f*cking dog shit every f*cking weekend! :mad1: That is perhaps the only thing I dislike about having these two though. :o

I get very attached to dogs and I might not have another pet after my current dog because its too painful to lose them.I kinda missed this earlier when I skimmed through to see the pics. That's pretty intense how attached you get to dogs. I was kinda joking around earlier about men and dogs, but I do think it true that men like dogs so much because men are often expected by society to not reveal much emotion/affection and a lot of dudes suppress feelings, but it somhow has been deemed "OK" for men to display affection towards dogs. Gawd, did that just totally make me sound like a "Metrosexual"?!? :p Anyway, before these guys, I haven't had a dog for like 20-some years. I have had these dogs for less than a year and I am already way emotionally attached to them being in our lives. So i can kinda understand how you can get that attached. I hope your 16 year old makes it another couple years.

Cute dogs KCAR, they look happy and healthy. Even though you guys don't get as much time at home as you probably like I bet they are good and happy man.

Well, I wanted to name her Gwen, but my lil nephew had dibs on the name...
So, I named her Blondie. Once she was used to it my nephew said I could have Gwen... Too late. :slap:

Nice pics of your pets, folks!

Here are two pictures. One is of Brandy, my second dog. She lived to be 12 and has been gone now for about 3 years. She is sorely missed. One of the best behaved dogs I've known.

The other is a picture of Toby, my giant cock-a-poo. What a great breed. Extremely good natured and lot's of fun. He's going to turn 4 in September. No home is complete without a dog.

I really miss having one - a lot.

Hey man, I love the evil dog with green eyes! Beautiful animal.

I feel your pain after she was gone. I seriously miss my little angel who passed away 10 months ago. I walked with her all the way till the very end and held her in my arms as the vet eased her into the big sleep.
We might be ready for a dog in the near future but as you might know we'll have to make sure we don't try to compare the new dog with the dog past.

Peace.

Whoa! Cool pictures!

Oh, to answer your question Art... you buy a car from someone who had a dog with HAIR, not fur. Poodles, cockers, and the such do not shed and have no dander. They have hair like humans. No stink. Problem solved. :)
