howdy everyone! i was just wondering; can anyone access g101 right now? i haven't been able to since last night... is there some gb vs. g101 crusade goin' on? if there is, let's make a heluva lot of converts!

Seems to be working fine for me ?... don't imagine there is any crusade going on at all lol. G101 is a monster and doesn't rely on "The Chosen Few" any longer. Ifrequent both places personally.

The new server is definitely slower but for me it's at least been consistent when I've tried, granted it's not all that often though. It could be that it's just timing out for some of you.

G101 has been steadily declining ever since you sold it Eric :(. Just aint the same bro. Lee, Sean... they ain't you. Don't have the commitment and passion and love for the community that you have. Seems like its "work" for them. Shame indeed......shame.

Its been working fine for me past few days.

I had the same problem yesterday, but I remember having the same issue after it changed of server on to Lee´s one. Not that I know much about changing sites to new servers, but from what I´ve seen before on several ocasions, it´s a pretty common thing. After a few days everything gets settled in and smooth. I don´t think is has to do with any human neglency.

I'm affraid that unless he moves it to a faster server or upgrades, there isn't much that can be done about it.

still works perfectly fine for me... although the new layout Sean has put in place there gives me a real headache... all squished together and stuff. without any borders... ouch.

Eric aint even a mod or anything there by the looks of things... that place just is not home anymore... sure as hell doesnt feel like it :(.

I've stepped down as an officer there. I made a post about it in the lounge over there a few days ago.

The server seems to be hit and miss for people depending on where they are.

Still not getting in to G101. I have a small window to get online each day and this is starting to pis me off!:maddance:

seems to be a lot better now, apart from it refused to upload a 8.67mb mp3....it says the limit is 9mb??

The 9Meg limit was originally placed by eric. the server move meant a lot of settings returned to their defaults. I know Lee address the size limits but he may have decided on a slightly lower limit. Shoot him a PM and ask.

Well the new dude there I don't think he even introduced himself yet, I checked a few times. I go there from time to time, but this is more like home to me, i just know more people here.
