I have a problem with applications and certain windows appearing off screen with no way of retrieving them. This even affects pop up boxes like the open file window for Nero.

My set up is Windows xp and 2 19" tft monitors.

I have tried right clicking the icons but there is no move option.
I have tried right clicking the task bar and cascading/arrange windows.
I have tried changing the resolutions and disabling one of the monitors.
none of which have helped.

so any help would be very much appreciated

Depending on your graphics card m8, you can go into Control panel->Nvidia Nview desktop manager -> Windows, and tick "Prevent Windows Opening Offscreen" box.
If you have an ATI card, you might find a similiar setting within there control panel:)

oh yeah :)

I found it. It was alt+spacebar - then use the arrow keys to bring it into view. most annoying but at least I know how to get it back now if it goes wrong again

Lol, I'd be lost without ALT-TAB. I always have 10-15 windows open at a time:D
