Well you learn quick grasshopper . Very tasty country mic sound , that sort of in the distance with a splash of chorus thing . I do like the amp sound , that tremolo effect realty cuts well , and last but not least the voices just sound so YES ! .

5 From me Mac , and a Nom for producing some real nice authentic country , even though we both live about 6 miles from one of the biggest chemical plants in the world .

Thanks everyone!...the trick with the recording/strumming of the acoustic is to use the thinnest plectrum you can get!..another Bluesplayer trick from his vault!..thanks y'all!

Seems very true! Usually I don't use a plectrum at all actually when I record acoustic. Just don't like the sound the pick makes when it hits the strings. But I guess that sound disappears with a very thin pick as well.

Took a second to recognize the song. Interesting to hear a cover of George Jones at the site, but that's part of the reason I keep coming back. The tremolo part was cool, but it's hard to beat the sound of a steel geetar for getting the pure country vibe.

Thanks for your kind comments..Chris..your dead right.some of these country rock players are absolutely awesome..I'm a old school Purple/Lizzy/Wishbone rocker! but if you get chance to listen to "car wheels on a gravel road" the Emmy winning album by Lucinda Williams..the playing will blow you away!..Steel guitar....yep if i had one i'd put one on!.i'm gonna be geting a Roland geetar synth soon so hopefuly it'll have one on!..thanks again...Mac

I get forced to listen to country on a regular basis, this from a woman who described Led Zep 2 as "Music to commit suicide to" Am slowly learning to appreciate SOME of it, working on converting a midi to a backer for Copperhead Road at the mo, but not doing very well I'm afraid :(

I enjoyed this, and have downloaded it as she is going to love it, 5 stars!
