ever since I heard the Rockin’ in the Free World jam on G3 (was it ’04?) I wanted to duplicate it, but why embarrass myself now?
tremendous job on the track by all! loved the harmonics in the rhythm, Murph.
and JPF, I’m not that active on the board, unfortunately, but man am I a fan of your vox. I love that rock n’ roll rasp you got (excuse my english if that didn’t come out right but it’s the best I can word it), you rocked this and you’re Stormcrow performance blew Jorn out of the water.
definitely worth a nomination.

Very cool indeed. Always nice to hear a neil young song on a guitar site (as most players don't seem to rate him these days) Great guitar playing and Wonderful vocals (you should have heard my attempt at singing this back in the day - that was TERRIBLE).
Just an all round excellent job!!!

Guys, that floored me !!!, You all really rocked this up big time. Jaime, Mart, Murph absolutely fantastic playing, really complimented each other, loved the eastern vibes and Whammy abuse guys, and Murph you definately have a touch of Zakk Wylde about you mate!!!. John, absolute terrific vocals....I only have admiration for your vocal talents. 5 stars and a nom I think are pre-requisite on this guys. The whole thing sounds like you are all on stage together and all that is missing is the crowd cheering.Great production too. :)

Outstanding!!!! 5 and a nom:yourock:
Well, this was quite an Epic undertaking of technical marvel and complexity, which is quite ironic, as Neil Young is known for quite the opposite. :o) You guys really tore this up in an 80s metal kinda way.
Holy shit that was some impressive lead work coming out of both the right AND left channels. Cool harmonized intro! Incredible job synch-ing up some of those runs. I already knew that MuRpH could tear it up, but I think this is the first that I’ve heard of Mart’s leadwork and I’m impressed! Gee, you can’t tell that MuRpH is influenced by Randy Rhoads and that Bahamut is influenced by Joe Satriani! ;)
I like the guitar solo trade-offs between the choruses and verses. They went on for quite a while but remained interesting. I would’ve ran out of licks after about 2 sections. ;o)
Avalon, the backer was very well put together. You have a gift for that. Your production is always top class!
Man, the vocal harmonies during the chorus are like Lucky Charms cereal (magically delicious!!!). Really nice job. And I like how you go up a bit higher during the 3rd and 4th lines of the chorus. Nice touch.
All in all this is quite an impressive parade of talent! :thumb:
