I couldn't pass up a deal on a set of "opened box" Samson Resolv 65a's (http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=86&brandID=2) for $140.00. I almost lost a testicle carrying the box out of the city and onto the bus for the long ride home from work! I use these with my MRS-8, not with my PC DAW. I keep the MRS-8 with all my guitars and amps. There's an Alesis mixer in there for vocals...basically I have the ability to capture any idea any time. This works well for me having, in effect, two separate studios in my home.

I'd say so, macman. Offer him $100 but even at $120 those Alesis monitors are worth it.

They are awesome monitors macman...i have the very same ones!!! They're not powered tho, if that makes a difference to you. Not a huge bass response either.....but work real well..... :thumb:
