yeah man. Looks like i do like em huh  :thumb: . Mattias is crazy. I dig his playing and his humour. But as far as his music... im not sure yet. It isn't quite something i would go buy and listen to alot. Havent heard much of it though of course. But what i have heard seems to be more just insane guitar trickery over fairly repetitive backing tracks. But i should look into him more just incase hes got gems here and there. Great player though indeed.

That's pretty much the case. He's fun to listen to cause he's different. I've listened to him a bit, my favourite tune by far is one called "Evil Shower". "Evil Shover" sometimes, I don't know wich one is correct, probably shower.
He has done a pretty cool cover of la bamba as well :p
"Taste My Fist" with Freak Kitchen is a pretty good tune too.

Great Video Find, Danny. How does he do those Artificial Harmonics with the whammy bar. I tried depressing the bar and hovering over the 5th fret as the strings become taught again but its not sounding?
Anyone have any ideas? Sounds like something Vai does alot.
EDIT>> I found another youtube video where someone is copying his style. It shows a closer view of what's happening.

He's very cool - I've been listening to Freak Kitchen for a little while now - their songs are good/odd/brilliant/unusual: Mattias uses all sorts of stuff/implements to make music.
That was a great post - cheers! :woot:
Wahwah first pointed me in their direction: http://www.freakkitchen.com/index.html

wild version of la bamba, :woot:
he is very original, cool guitar harmonic sounds
and he is entertaining,
I especially like how he lets musicians know that his sound is due to the way he plays the guitar,
ie. that his tone comes from his head, heart, and fingers,
and not because he records with expensive equipment.
very cool video, thanks
