Very cool bass sounds! Ya can get some really good bass sounds using midi, but nothing beats the real thing! I was actually snapping my fingers along to this one without thinking of it's title or the lyrics. Something subconcious maybe? Did you put backwards messages in this one? :p

Man, this is really AWESOME, Matt! I was quite a Prong fan from back in the day. I have both the Beg To Differ and Prove You Wrong albums. I listened to Beg To Differ fairly obsessively back in the eary to mid 90s and still give it a whirl every once in a while. Prove You Wrong is really good too. I have scoured the internet looking for MIDIs for Prong songs, with hopes of covering them, but this is the only one I have been able to find. While not my favorite from them, it is a great tune and got them a lot of attention when it came out.

Anyway, you really sound a lot like Tommy Victor on those vocals! You would make a great stand-in for him if he ever left the band and they wanted to keep going. :o) As far as your recording, both your bass and guitars are very fat, punchy and gritty. I love the bass part by itself during the intro (Really fat!). This recording was performed and mixed really well (sounds great!). From one Prong fan to another, I easily give you 5 stars for this gem.

I swear these keep getting darker lol, nah this was most excellent Matt, i love that rhythm work , the tone is nice and in your face for it, if i had my mop of hair back i would be head banging to this lol, excellent vocals as always m8, the bass sounded fantastic aswell, a classy song , 5 stars :rock: :rock:

I completely agree nothing compares to a real bass. I'm usually just too lazy to do it myself:toothless: but the midi bass was so wrong I couldn't even use it and I really wanted to cover this.

Sounds like it was lifted right from the CD. The quality here is second to none!!! Like it was done in a pro studio with a big name producer!!!! I remember this song very well Matt. Killer! Killer! Killer!!!!!

Its definately fair to say you have this genre nailed to the wall mate, as always quality production, singing and playing, the bass definately added to it too, i don't know the song, but i really enjoyed it mate.
