Here's a cover I spent a little more time on than I first intended.
To begin with I just pulled out a backer I had downloaded and jammed with it. Then I wasnt completely happy with the backing track, so I made my own. Wanted some live bass on it. And the vocals gave me more trouble than I had first thought they would. Had a hard time getting a nice sound, so I added a whole bunch of effects and stuff. Still wasnt sure I was 100% happy with it, but then I listened to the original and realized the vocals on that one sound really bad. And that made me feel a bit better.

Pretty faithful cover, but with a bunch of changes and stuff that I wanted to do different than what the white stripes did. Hope ya like.

Ahhhh, I've been waiting for someone to cover this here. Wow, very unique interpretation on this. Sounds awesome, man! Yeah, this is definitely a song where the bass line needs to be played...midi isn't going to cut it. The slide is killer and as usual you are one helluva harp player. Awesome! :thumb:

One suggestion, I hear a little clipping at some of the louder parts...put a limiter on this and it's perfect.

Hey man, exellent stuff as always. Your voice reminded me the guy of the song "Tainted Love". Not MManson tough :D

The voice reverb makes the instruments go slightly off but the whole thing sounds incredible. Even my sister came out from her room to hear this :thumb:

Excellent cover Naif, liked the vocal effects and the guitar work , has your usual and unique shine to the song ,great vocals, lovely guitar work:D

There is a limiter on it already actually. I might have overdone the limiter a bit tho, so it got a bit too loud when I normalized it.

I FKIN LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..The bass line in this song just totally freakin rocks! and you added harp!,,Excellent version Per :woot: :woot: ..Actually Jack White is an excellent musician,i have the soundtrack to Cold Mountain...and he does alot of the songs from that movie,plus he stars in it aswel...I really really enjoyed this one Per!

Always loved this. the original version use of an octaver for the bass was inspired but here you have done a genuine reworking and he harp playing sounds like something from hell. Quite amazing,

You know, I wasnt quite sure how I felt about this tune. Actually I'm still not. Sometimes I think it soudns great, and sometimes I think it sounds all out of tune everywhere. So it's nice to get good reviews from you guys.

Not a White Stripes fan, but this was great. Will have to check out the original for comparison. Loved the harp work, all round excellence!

Great performance Per!! Better than the original in my opinion. Had some clipping of the bass in my speakers but no big deal. This rocks!!! Easy 5!!!

Great work Naif, can't say i know the track at all, but i love what you've done with it, your vocals espeically very different to alot of the other songs you have done, and it works very well too.
