Ah...no harm in a little wank I say..(but not so that you go blind or grow hair on your palms stuff). Now, the tune...this was FELT!!! Man so expressive!!
I love this G!! This is huge imo!! Star you 5's!!! I have a version I did...and I missed all of this!! I approached it no where close!!! Bravo!!! :thumb: :thumb:

thanx 3fingers - i really dug into this. this was the first take, so i think it's a little more spontaneous. i like just doing first takes on improvs, or coming to them fresh from putting the guitar down for about an hour or two, because it feels different in your hands.

I agree 100%!! The is nothing like feeling a tune on the first go...nothing...Nothing beats that!!! :thumb: :thumb:

i didn't know if the changes to this track would be similar to "Since I've Been Loving You," so that was fun to deal with also. this would be a good jam track for a collab...

You managed to capture quite a huge tone from that Strat, G. This sounds great and what makes it rock more is that it's a one-off recording. Nice when you capture coolness like this off the cuff. Great playing here and I like how you build up interest in the track. Kick ass, man! :thumb:

Awesome tone and feel!!!
I almost felt like I stood in the audience at a Zeppelin concert in the 70's. :maddance:

I've also got a V-amp2. I've been thinking for a long time now to replace it with a PodXT, but I keep squeezing nice sounds out of that little blue plastic box. So did you on this track!

Enjoyed this one, really starts to heat up in the final Quarter of the track. Some nice tap/slide ideas going on followed by the awesome overbend lick a la Jimmy Page.

Great stuff mate....:thumb:

thanx man. i remember you told me to take it easy and to let the guitar sing, so that's what i did. i had a lot of things goin' on when i recorded this, and i think that's why it sounds the way it does. thanx again dudes.:D
