View Full Version : Nature's Way - Spirit
Hope folks remember this group and maybe this song too. This was mostly done in the spirit of Spirit (as in not too precise) and I sang it myself out of convenience. If someone really wanted to do their own vocal thang, I'd gladly send the backer. This is from what I consider to be one of the great rock albums of all time.

I remember this very well...and this is a gr8 cover, bro!!!:woot: After hearing this I decided to look for a midi of "I Got A Line On You"...but only found one crappy version!!:upset: Spirit was a gr8 band!!!
Thanks for the listens and comments. Good to see that at least someone knew the song. :p
The Spirit midi files are few and far between. I found this one by doing a lot of digging and then it wasn't accurately programmed after I opened it up. Had to rework it a little, but got it to work.

I did see Spirit in 1982 ? i believe , superb show it was too . Let me just say i think your voice sounds superb , it has elements of the guy who sang for Van Der Graff generator ? , anyway i love the harmonies , sounds like you had a load of fun putting this together dude . Fairly complex track to do , and to me its great !!!

Vand Der Graff Generator? That's an interesting comment. I've been thinking about doing the song Refugees, but I'm not sure that my voice goes quite high enough and there's not a lot of guitar in that song. Really appreciate the comments about Spirit too. IMO, they were ahead of their time.
Jeez Joe...I really thought i had posted on this!!! Excellent work bro!!! I too, remember this tune very well!! And you did a fantastic job of covering this. You really have a nice voice...you should sing more!!! Big respect for always tackleing really obscure, somewhat tough to do tracks. Very inspiring!! Awesome post bro!!!:thumb:
Great post KS...I Loved it:yourock:

I agree with JPF you should sing more you have a lovely voice... great song :thumb:
Thanks for the kind comments about my singing voice. Staying in pitch is a challenge, plus I let the harmonies go astray in that last verse. :toothless:
