When i got reference vocals from Geordie for Into The Sky. He'd stuck this little on the intro. We took it off the final version cause i wanted more of a build up. Didnt want vocals right away.

This song is actually a Geordie (As in the people. Not our beloved Geordie himself) Anthem. Often sang around Newcastle and St James' Park (Newcastle United Football Stadium). Being a Geordie myself i was tickled by this. Had to keep it as a seperate lil tune in its own right.

So there ya have it. The intro to our tune 'Into The Sky' turned into 'Blaydon Races' by Geordie. To anyone outside of North Eastern England..... good luck understanding what hes singing about :thumb:

That's pretty cool. I noticed that Geordie likes to improv and come up with his own melodies and such. He's done that on a couple of covers for me. This is cool that you turned this into a two-for-one based on the other song. The little delay effect at the end sounds cool.

Class production here, guys!!!!:thumb: Reminds me of something but, I can't put my finger on it!!:headscratch: We all know what an incredible vocalist Geordie is!!! Awesome guys! The mix was good. Vox and production were top notched. Reminded me of old Guns and Roses.

Thanks fellas. Its certainly a fun little tune. Means an extra little bit to the Geordies among us. But really cool to see others getting something from it too. The props pretty much go to Geordie himself here though. I'd never have thought of putting Blaydon Races onto the intro to Into The Sky. :thumb: @ Geordie.

Its a great song and like the rest of us i am very passionate about the North East. Being the soft git that i am i used to sing my little boy to sleep with this song and get really emotional. Still do now when i sing mu little girl to sleep. Glad you liked it though.
