Hey guys. I hope you enjoy this. I wrote this song with Dannyboys insight. We switch off in soloing. Danny starts it off and then I come in. Back and forth. Tell us what ya think. :)

absolutely killer playing by both of you i must say , theres some great trading and great variety between the playing .
however i must add that a concerto is technically a solo instrument plus orchestra . rather than guitar + piano
apart from that well done guys .

very impressive guys. Strangely relaxing but at the same time something that would not sound out of place in a horror or suspense film. Think "The Crow" Quality all the way through.
5 Stars!

Glad you liked it. :) Hey I remember Jason Becker and Marty Friedman made as song called Concerto. 2 Guitars in that one too.
If you wanna be technical, I guess we should of called in Concerto Grosso. Meaning musical material passed between a small group of soloists.
Concerto Grosso dont sound too good to me. lol

Lovely stuff - I can see the "Crow" connection: a very "lonely" feel to this piece.

LOL I'm still not trying to be a smart ass (i swear) but ....
You're right, concerto grosso from the baroque era does feature more than one soloist , what i was getting at was that the word concerto usually conotates that the soloist(s) are with a full orchestra rather than just a piano.
Anyway i don't want to take away from this thread anymore , you guys deserve more focus on your great playing rather than my nit picking crap

This is completely out of my usual tastes, but melody flowed as hell everywhere! Great work guys!

Very melodic. Was a little surprised when the drums kicked in at 3:30 or so, but it worked very well.
Nice tension, and some smokin' playin' from you two!

Damn nice playing by you both, playing over piano only really exposes even the slighest string noise but you guys are really clean and the note choices were killer too :D

Thanks Fellas. I have always enjoyed playing over simpler stuff like this. You really have to make sure every note has a good tonality. Shredding is fine with heavier stuff but this kinda stuff in my eyes always requires a gentler more subtle approach.
