i had one get up to #5 and they suspended me for copywrite violations. i did a cover of sweet child of mine with clint from g101 and they suspended my account untill i deleted it. or i could pay like $5 a month per song. kind of sucked because it was a place to keep my cover tunes online. you should be ok with your origionals. mine were all covers. congrats for getting that far in the charts

I really don't know the criteria to their rating or chart system. In a band I was in a couple years back we had a tune in #1 for a few weeks straight, in one of the sub charts... But the other guitarist also spammed half the globe to get it there, LOL.
Supercharged and I were very fortunate to have one of our songs hit #18 in a more obscure sub chart. Imagine how taken back we were!!!
I think it's simple.... When you're GOOD, they call you Goport! I think their system is working right!! Congrats Porty, you're stuff deserves to be on top.

thanks to all of you for replying. I just checked again and I am at #22 and it isn't even my strongest song :) Don't Do It is basically unfinished because the drums on the middle 8 passages are incomplete. The hihats are supposed to be on 16ths but cut out because I wrote it on a GM2 midi drum package and transfered it to BFD which has a few quirks that I didn't notice until it was too late.

It's really interesting to listen to these Porty mate, first of all because you are truly a talented chap and i really dig these little cracking gems. and secondly... because it's so amusing almost, to see just how far i drag you out of your norm when i pull you kicking and screaming into my world.
Fine jobs mate. all of em. You're unique really. Great fun. Love em.

I'm totally unconvinced about Sound Click . I posted a tune which i reckoned was not brilliant by a long shot but ok , out of curiosity i checked out the number one in my genre , i heard the biggest pile of HORSESHITE ever , disillusioned at people bumping their own tunes i never went back .
i never heared a weak song from you mate :yourock:
I second that Eddie:yourock:

first off porty-dude get those songs published, cause they deserve airplay. you have a vast array of talents, producing songwriting, grt playing, recording, singing.
As far as soundclick i signed a while back, but i dunno how the whole thing works, to inpatient i guess to learn. i have a song up there in instrumentals. but have no clue how to check it or anything.
