Yea thay said like up to fifty cars fell into the Mississippi in Minnesota so im shure it might be even more people gone. I'm suspecting though it was stress fractures on the bridge that caused it though and not a terrorist attack .

It looks really bad though and it was a huge collapse I think it dropped like 60 ft. from the air.

Bit odd for a bridge to just give way , surely on the last inspection they would of seen signs of fractures ? :confused:

Yeah, I have a niece in Minnesota who crosses that bridge everyday. Luckily she wasn't on it at that time. Thank God the schoolbus full of kids didn't go into the river. Its tragic that people died but it could have been worse, some were lucky. I've often thought about that very thing happening whenever I drive over long bridges or drive under one. It could happen anytime I suppose.

Amazing. Just watching a bit of this on CNN. Just think, we cross bridges like this all the time. But who would think this could ever happen?

Yeah it's pretty sad and they still don't know how many are dead, just a rough idea of who's missing. Jesus man, how could something like that happen?

Very tragic indeed. It's been all over the news channels 24/7 since it occurred....painful and scary to watch. My heart goes out to those poor injured people and the families of the deceased.
