It's been hot as a mofo. No kidding. I can't use any other adjective. It's 110 today with the heat index. But I know some of you have it worse. I definitely feel your pain.

Wow! I would go nuts! I have been watching on CNN about the heat wave in the US. Just stay inside & drink lots of beer!:)
We had a little heat wave here over a week ago and it got up to 100! I was very cranky.:tard: At night I jumped in the kiddie pool with my son...lol
Shit bro, i'd take that little wave that will probably peter out in about a week or so over me living with 98 to 100 degree temps from around april to october....with 80 percent humidity to boot!!! But i do feel for ya.....when you don't live with it all the time, it's a real BITCH!!!:thumb:

There's a heat wave in the US?? Heh...I guess I should pay more attention to the news. I wouldn't have guessed. I'm sitting here wondering if summer will ever arrive.

it is in the high 90's with 90% humidity here and i don't complain because it gets 20 below zero here in the winter. i'll take the heat anyday. that is what the beach is for. i wait 9 months for it to get hot so we can enjoy our short summers here
We have been under a heat advisory all week long,uggg..Last few days has been a high of 100 to 101,and heat index 114 to 117 :(

We haven't had any real heat here, but the humidity has been insane last couple of days. I've been sweating like a madman. Today it seems to have cleared up tho, and the weather is really nice actually.

Hey thats it , thats whats missing , a GB daily weather forecast ! , worldwide of course . Shouldn't be to hard to knock up Eric . Hey can i be weather man ? ive already prepared a script ............................
Today were gonna have lots of sun from 8.00 up until 12 noon , then it will rain ( for the farmers ) whilst we have lunch , then at 13.00 it will be sunny again up until 23.00 when we go to bed , and it will rain a little more ( for the farmers ) .
Easy .

And to think around the world people do it all the time without electricity in worst climates.
Then again...with all our modern conveniences..it's still hot as a MOFO!! :)

It's hot here the past few days (100+) but not all that unusual for Cali this time of year and not as bad as other places in the country right now - I've lived where SG Std lives too and it really does get downright thermonuclear there, have seen it 120+ there

Are you guys not suffering any hose pipe bans , are having any serious water shortages ? .
I remember watching a prog years ago and it stated then the Colorado was seriously drying up due to over use by industry and new housing developments .

The only type of ban we have is no using automatic lawn sprinkler systems between noon and 7pm. Lake Mead, which is a man made lake created when they built Hoover Dam on the Colorado River, is our source of water. And it is pathetically LOW!!! To remember what it looked like when I moved here almost26 yrs ago and to see it now is really sad!!! The Las Vegas population grows by about 7,000 people per MONTH!!! Greed has taken precedence over common sense concerning our water supply!!!

Heyya SG! I'm in the desert north of you. Beautiful downtown Reno, where it's been within 5 degrees over or under 100 for the past two months.
But then... it's the desert.
Last summer I had a job that took me to Santa Rosa for a week, and it was 114 in the shade the whole time we were there. It actually cooled all the way down to 95 at night. There was no AC in the building we were working in, and all pavement around the outside. That was effin' BRUTAL.

I'll bet that WAS brutal!!!! Last august our 16 yr old air conditioner went belly up!!! Hottest week of the year. Took about a week to get it replaced since it's also their busiest time of the year!!! Spent a LOT of time in the pool!!!

Same here Robbie. We got restrictions for water right now. Canīt take a fuckn shower after 11 PM. Iīve never been to Nevada, but I know what itīs like in south Arizona, and believe me, itīs the same here. Strange thing the damn sea is just like 60 miles from here. But this is just like Northern Africa.
