Hello everyone, its been a long while since i posted some of my backing tracks up (various reasons as some of you will know), but i've decided to start releasing some of them again, it won't be anywhere near the rate i used to back on 101, but this time round it will be quality over quantity.
Some of these are very new bts, some are slightly older, but all are previously unrealsed bts, all made by myself, and i'll add them to this thread as they happen.
Depending on the kind of feedback i get (or don't), i might keep up the redevelopment of my bts as and when i get time.

So lets kick off with a cracker from Deep Purple, this ones called "Highway Star", its based around the breakneck speed live style versions i know and love, and it was one of my first bts to use my new mark 5 drum kit.
On a side note, anyone who has the brass balls to sing this, let me know, cus im dying to cover it lol.
Hope you like it and Enjoy :thumb:

This next one is slightly older, and has my vocals on (sorry in advance lmao), but its a nice little blues number by Deep Purple called "Wasted Sunset", from the Perfect Strangers album.
Its as the original, has my new organs on and is a nice bt, Enjoy :thumb:

Another Deep Purple track updated from the previous release, new organs, reworked Drums (not the newest kit though), with my vocals on (sorry again peeps), but its as the original is.

Over to Satch now, and a classic called "Big Bad Moon" from the Flying In A Blue Dream album, it has vocals (not actually to bad on this lol) rhythm guitars and harmonica, as per my cover back in january i think it was.
Although it only has the mark 3 drum kit on, still a very nice bt :)
Enjoy :thumb:

Another Satch bt, this time "Echo" from the Surfing With The Alien album, latest drums and bass on this, no rhythm guitars, so it plays more like the live version, but alot of u might prefer your own rhythm guitars anyhow.
Enjoy :thumb:

Here is one from the Tom Petty Catalog, called "Running Down A Dream".
Its as i covered it, minus rhythm guitars and lead, so acoustics and vocals all present (and not to shabby).
Enjoy :thumb:

Here is a karaoke track for Del Amitri's "Driving With The Brakes On", which i covered earlier in the year.
Its pretty much as i covered it, minus vocals (harmonys are still there though), its a lovely track though, Enjoy :thumb:

Here is one from Brian Mays solo album Back To The Light, called "Driven By You", an older bt, and no rhythm guitars, but i don't wanna ruin all the fun now do i :)
I've always wanted to cover this one, but never been able to twist anyones arm on the vocals, but maybe someone else will have more luck :)
Enjoy :thumb:

Here is abit of a misc backer, the song is "The Snowman", and its not exactly any version as such, but i guess its more towards a version The Shadows did a while back, a lovely little BT though for anyone who likes the song (i love it :) ).
Enjoy :thumb:

Here's one from Rainbow called "Spotlight Kid", its as Kenny and myself covered it, except no guitars or vocals, but its fast, very fast, so don't say u weren't warned lol.
Its a great song to play along to though, and the solo is one of my favs from Blackmore.
Enjoy :thumb:

Here's a lovely track from Steve Vai called "Lotus Feet", its brand new BT this one, and one of my best i think, everything except lead guitars are present.
I put a hell of alot of work into this one, but it definately paid off, one of my favs and i hope you like it too.
Enjoy :thumb:

Another Vai track, this time an absolute classic of a track, from Bill & Teds Bogus Journey, called "The Reaper" :)
One of Vai's best imo, just a bloody brilliant song, my BT is based on the original, only difference is it has a 4 bar lead-in infront of where the song starts, and no rhythm guitars, but other then, as the original.
Also brand new this one, so Enjoy :thumb:

Thats most of my immediately available backers, im going to be slowly updating my old BT's, probably starting with 2 Andy Timmons tracks i did a while back, and then basically different BT's i've worked on over the years (alot from my Satch, DP catalog), and probably some new tracks here and there too.
But in the mean time, hope you enjoy these :thumb:

Here's a very recent BT from the Deep Purple catalog, called "Wring That Neck".
Lovely jam track this one, as Jim, Mark, Mart and myself had some fun on very recently, not sure its as much interest to anyone else as it is to me, but enjoy all the same :thumb:

Hi guys, as promised, here is an update to my Andy Timmons "Electric Gypsy" backing track.
I no longer have the original to work from (hard drive formats, u know it is), so its updated a tad blind, i had to work off my old backer and apply my new instruments to it and hope i was in my right mind when i made it originally :notme:
Anyhow, sounds lot better then the first version, hope you enjoy it :thumb:

Here's one from Satch called "Surfing With The Alien", almost brand new BT this one, based around the Time Machine version of the song, so its played at a fair old pace, but thats why its such good fun :)
Enjoy :thumb:

Abit more Satch for you today, a backer i did not so long ago, was thinking about covering it, but i never could get the growl noise right in the middle , anyway, here is Ice #9, from Satchs "Surfing With The Alien" album, halfway between original and live pace, enjoy :thumb:
