Hey that looks a lot like the boric acid in almost the same self-seal plastic bag I buy at the drugstore for powdering my shoes to combat bad foot oder. But the bag comes neatly inside a little carton box with the price tag on it.

I've actually got this organism to wake up I think. It's a slow process of putting in more and more flour and water. This morning it was very bubbly so I think it's awake.

LMAO! I´m sure it should be fun. I myself enjoy a lot cooking. Ya know, I was remembering after all this sourdough stuff you have brought up lately of Woody Allens´ Love and death. There´s this guy somewhere in the middle of the movie who is an absolute freak about fishing-cooking herrings, LOL! No pun intended, I just happened to remember it.
