My own personal opinion of course but i think 99% of movies shown in cinemas are seriously lacking in good scripts , and good actors . Plots run thin and subject matters are unremarkable . more seriously the current trend of positioning women in dominant powerful roles looks , and is "silly". I think it helps if you have a vivid imagination , but im a realist , i guess thats my problem , i need things to makes sense . i cannot accept silly stunts , like thin petite 8 stone waifs beating up 20 stone hoodlums .

Its good for the masses i suppose , but i like my movies to touch on reality , and not be some sidekick Scooby doo like farce .

Give me a good documentary any day . :bitchslap:

While im in full agreement of the stupidity of all this women with power malarchy (it IS ludicrous no matter how many feminists wish to believe otherwise), I happen to believe that one of the main points of a great number of movies is to disband the realism and take you somewhere else. We get reality every day, why on earth would you want it in every film you see ?.

Im a realist in the real world, but in the movie world ?... I like to totally loosen up.

Their ring also acts as a lie detector, and yours as some sort of GSM tracking device. So they know when you've been within a few yards of a woman without a ring on, and have the ability to know you're bullshitting when you say you haven't !

But then again, she knows how to use the washing machine and does my ironing, so it's a small price to pay to familiarise myself with Palm for the rest of my life !
