Another great Trower cover Dallas..:yourock:

The mix is cool, got a very live vibe going on, would have liked the rhythm guitar a tad louder tho'.........

Myles, yet again rocks on this one, his voice is so well suited to this kind of stuff, excellent performance........ Drums and Bass are spot on also.

Solo's are great, and as Joe asked earlier what the fuck are you using for that tone??? Great sound man, any info would be much appreciated...

Wow thanks! It took me a while to come up with both tones. I'm pretty sure I used the POD Pro on this one. The tune was done with my 99 Black Strat. 2 Texas Specials and a HotRails. The rhythm was done using the middle pickup like Trower. Lead, neck of course. With all Trower tunes, I take the trebile way down and bring up the presence.

I do like tracks from these early Trower albums , and this is right on the nail . I really want to cover a couple myself ( Alethea ) when i get round to it :maddance: , anyway this is very accurate , sounds like a real band thing going on here ? excuse my ignorance if it is , but i would love to see you guys LIVE !!. Oh and did i mention the vocals ? , no , well these are superb , with a class vibrato . you kind of remind me of Chris Farlowe a little . Top marks and 5 stars for this little gem !!! waytogo guys ........:yourock: :yourock:

Thanks Bluesplayer. Real band? Yes. But.. We all live in different states. Usually what happens, I send Tommy a scratch track. He sends me the drums and bass. I record the guitars and add to the mix. Last Myles sends me the vox and percussion. After that it's done. I really appreciate the Trower tunes Tommy helped us with. He really doesn't like remaking covers. He'd rather work on our originals. Oh the other hand, if you ever need vox on Trower tunes, Myles loves it. BTW, I'm pretty sure Myles mixed the vox and tamborine on this one. He did an awesome job!!
