Saw a small bit of this on Film 2007 last night. Does looks pretty interesting. It was the one which stood out in the montage of clips from trailers of upcoming films. Will be keeping a close eye on it me thinks.

A good friend sent me the book Beowulf a year back..Its a great read for sure..I have been waiting for this one to peek through for awhile now..I actually watched one called Beowulf and Grendel

It came out in 2005..I had to see it,i mean Gerard Butler was the leading man:D

i agreed Rain, that's my favourite Beowulf and Gretel :woot:
I wonder if they are going to film all the saga...with Buttler again....:boobies:

The current trailer for this is on TV now, looks dissapointingly forgettable but time will tell. Would appear to be a voice over job for Ray Winstone for the main character, pathetic. I don't hate CGI but to make a main character CGI when he's supposed to be an actual man... I don't get it. I'll probably never watch this. *Goes to watch 300 again instead*

It does look like an interesting film and I've always been a fan of the literary work. I don't know how I feel about an all CGI film though...it's basically like watching a cartoon in a lot of ways.

Well, I'll give it a chance...probably won't go to the theater to see it though.
