'Freedom of Religion' means ANY religion. The second someone places a limit on someone else's spiritual beliefs, then that is the beginning of outlawing ALL spiritual beliefs - and NO ONE wants that.

History proves that the old gods are made into 'devils' by the conquerors, whomever they may be... for example, the so-called 'demon' Astaroth actually came from the Pagan goddess Astarte or Ishtar. The 'dying and resurrected god' is present in MANY cultures, and is NOT exclusive to Christianity. There are countless more examples...
