You are never going to be taken seriously as a rock guitar god without some serious grunging ability mate. Look at the likes of Gary Moore, crap guitarist, can hardly string two notes together, but them faces have put him where he is today!! Get in front of the mirror and start practicing and stop wasting your time perfecting them sweep picked arpeggios, thats my advice :thumb:

Cool playing there, but I am sorry to say I see-listen to the same again and again, :(. I know it´s really hard to stand out of cliché-kinda licks while soloing. I myself have a bunch of them, but still struggle to learn out other kind of stuff, being an old fart and playing occasionally as I do. Lemme tell ya, at least from my perspective of playing guitar. A LOT of what ya grab-play (just about like everything else in life, lol!) in your mind comes up within your early years of playing. You have the skills. But man, get off those damn sweeps, change of tone, play some polka, hell, I don´t know, whatever. And at your age (cough-cough sounds like an old man here, LOL!) you should and deff can be able to be a sponge. No shit talking here man.

I liked it when you started playing the chord stuff towards the end. The other stuff seems like it might be fun to play, but it's really not that fun to listen to, at least not to me, sorta lacks a couple of elements to make it into music. A couple more instruments or something maybe.
But it'd be cool to hear you build up something more song-like as a one guitar improv. You know, with some more chords thrown in there or something. Just hearing one note at a time all the time gets old pretty fast I'm afraid.

Didn't mean to piss ya off, just saying what I'm thinking here.
Even improvs could be music, you know. But as I said, as long as you're having fun that's what counts. So you don't have to care what I, or anyone else, tell you. But sometimes others opinions might give you some new views. No need to defend yourself. We're not trying to attack you.

I enjoyed watching those, particularly the first one. Great playing, :thumb:

Also I just wanted to make it clear that I never wanted you to play a different style or genre. I just wanted to hear some music, any genre will do. But hey, I think it's time to drop that discussion now maybe.

Have removed the videos and all my posts. Appologies that it got to me, but I really did not expect people to take such an obviously and self explanitory titled thing so seriously. Was just a bit of a laugh and for some reason people wanted it to be musical or more like how they like things ?. I just do what I love doing, same as the rest of you. I'd appreciate it if I wasn't told to do it different so frequently (on the site, not just this thread).

Anyway, apple ogies again. Lets let this sink into oblivion, the rest of you who wanna anonnymously sink your claws in with somemore 1 star ratings can do so as it slides out of sight. I'll rest safe in the knowledge that I am more honest and open when I have a problem with something/someone. :)

For the record Danny mate, I enjoyed 'em for what they were, I just didn't get round to posting till now. Liked the little hammer-ons whilst picking at the same time!
