I'm in the process of cleaning out my apartment since I'm going to move. So right now I have a pretty empty living room. I thought I'd do one last video in this apartment, so I put a chair in the middle of my empty living room, sat on it and played some blues. There's no reverb or anything added digitally here, if you hear any reverb it's just the natural room reverb.
This is the first tune I learned when I started playing guitar, I think it was over 10 years ago now, and here I am again playing it :D
Sweet Home Chicago
Hope ya like it.

Sounds great with the natural room reverb.
Did you get evicted for playing too loud or too late at night? :p :thumb: :thumb:

That would be great, but I don't have a local blues club :(

Yeah, I can fix up an mp3, I'm a bit of a hurry now but I'll get one up later. And yeah, I've heard the mikey comparison before. It's either him or Penn Jilette from Penn & Teller :o
I also agree!

Didn't get evicted, but I have had a neighnour complain about playing too late at night once. I had no idea what time it was, hehe.
Moving on to better things ;)

Heh, nah didnt play it quite like that when I first learned it. Cool thing about this tune (well, most blues tunes I guess) is that you can start out really simple and basic, and then build on it. Add new riffs and fills and all of that.

Excellent work! This had like a Robert Johnson old delta blues feel to it. Almost felt like I was down at the crossroads! Well done!

First off, top peformence mate, loved the whole vibe throughout, just you and room of guitars, im also moving atm too, so i can totally relate to the empty room and plenty of natural reverb, but it works so well on the song, and you really have a great voice on you too, the more you sing, the more im liking it :)
Great track, even better performence, 5 stars :thumb:
