Thanx to Master Tang for the Backer. On the last post there was some controversy over the backer cause there was a main lead line in, I played over it and doubled the harmonies.
As with the last this is far fom perfect, I'll never be Vai or Malmsteen but wil always enjoy tring to do there stuff.

Brilliant works guys!!U played very very well .Scary tone, speed & control:rock: The backer was also great. Is this a MIDI bass?? it sounded unreal!***** from me but I owe u a NOM since the NOM bar is gone now lol!!

That's the most insane thing I've ever heard! (I've never heard the original) No wonder Zappa had Vai in his band. Anyone who could learn something as mental as that deserves lots a lot more credit than a Big 5 and a nom, but sadly that's the only option open here. :thumb:

All you need to do now Jeff is start handing the helpings of humble pie out

see that up there? 5 stars!! forget what has been said Jeff - this is impossible to recreate but you got close enough to get 99.9% on the nose. thats closer that 99.9% of guitarists. Guess that makes you one in a thousand. thats a damn good ratio. I am stunned mate. Suitably stunned. 5 stars have never been more justifiably earned in my opinion.

I purposely avoided that other thread because there was no more to be said until u'd posted this, and u've done a good job on it man. It's 1 of my favourite Vai tunes and quite frankly most of his newer stuff bores me,well half of it does and the other half rocks! Anyway..

I for 1 never thought u'd cheated at all man. You just never stated what backer you'd used for it and saying that i didn't do that either on my last post. I presume people who listen to these types of tunes either have the backers themselves or can easily hear the parts u've done over a pre-made backing.:dunno:

I will always state what parts of the track i've done and if i say nothin about the rest of it well then i didn't do it,end of! I would just think likewise for other people..

So good job here man and a pity u'd to waste your time to do it over:thumb:

Not a song that I know(not really a fan of Vai's music)....but this is quite a song to tackle, Jeff!!! The time it must have took to learn this is beyond my attention span, not to mention beyond my guitar capabilities!!!:tard:

Kudos bro!!!! Job well done!!!!
